By filtering the low-frequency radiation components, artefacts are reduced so that even large workpieces or those that are difficult to penetrate can be measured. Beam hardening filters in different materials and thicknesses provide the optimal combination of artefact reduction and low noise. The selected filter is automatically changed when the measuring programme is started.
